Verizon Wireless must be pretty happy with Motorola’s Droid 2 smartphone, according to a piece of internal Verizon information that revealed an unusual level of satisfaction among its customers. Basically, this Android-powered smartphone has the lowest return rate of any Verizon handset, and Droid 2 owners are even happier than those who have the Droid X in their pockets. Seems that this bodes well for Motorola as it gives the company another platform to maintain its quality and surpass expectations in what could very well be a huge turnaround for the company which seemed destined to be doomed where its cellular department is concerned

Motorola has just introduced its second rugged Android-powered phone in the form of the Motorola Defy . If the 3.7-inch Gorilla Glass isn’t good enough to convince you of its rugged credentials, perhaps its IP67 compliance will, which means that it’s capable of being submersed in up to a meter of water for up to half an hour. The Defy is expected to be launched across Europe in Q4 this year.
