Little known Lava Scandinavia TVs has revealed what they call the “Android TV”, calling it the first in the world (for its kind, anyways). Being demonstrated at IFA 2010 Berlin, this device is a hybrid of low-power computer and traditional TV, where standard TV hardware has been complemented with the presence of another logic board which will dish out an Android-based Internet TV interface. The home screen can be filled up with Android widgets, and when you hit a key on the QWERTY keyboard/remote, you will be greeted with a more feature-rich “home menu” from where you are able to access the web browser, YouTube, Facebook, Email client and other Android apps.
