Verizon Wireless must be pretty happy with Motorola’s Droid 2 smartphone, according to a piece of internal Verizon information that revealed an unusual level of satisfaction among its customers. Basically, this Android-powered smartphone has the lowest return rate of any Verizon handset, and Droid 2 owners are even happier than those who have the Droid X in their pockets. Seems that this bodes well for Motorola as it gives the company another platform to maintain its quality and surpass expectations in what could very well be a huge turnaround for the company which seemed destined to be doomed where its cellular department is concerned

Verizon Wireless has started to push out the Android 2.2 Froyo update to said handsets, which would also mean Adobe’s Flash 10.1 will be included with the update. For those who are about to bring home a new Incredible, fret not about performing the update yourself since it will already come pre-installed. Additional features in the update will include being Mobile Hotspot ready and a much faster JIT (Just In Time) compiler, not to mention 720p video recording support and access to Android 2.2 only apps in the market.
